Equestrian Summer Camp 2026
Who are the camps for?
Our camps are designed for kids and teens aged 7 to 18, welcoming riders of all levels.
Whether you’re just starting out or already competing, all you need is a love for horses and a desire to learn. Classes are grouped by riding level, ensuring that every camper — beginner or advanced — can progress at their own pace and enjoy every step of the journey.
Where are the camps located?
Our camps take place at the Centro Ecuestre Miracampos, in Lasarte-Oria, just 8 km from San Sebastián (Basque Country, northern Spain).
Set in a natural, peaceful, and secure environment, our facilities offer the perfect setting for an unforgettable equestrian experience.
Accommodation is located within the equestrian center, in a newly renovated building created specifically for our summer camps in 2021. Beyond horses, the estate is home to many friendly animals — hens, ducks, geese, cats, alpacas, and even emus — making every day a little more magical.
What are the attendance options?
🏡 Internal Option – Boarding Camper
Accommodation in our on-site villa, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. All meals are homemade and can be adapted to dietary needs (gluten-free, allergies, vegetarian, etc.).
Check-in: Sunday morning | Check-out: Saturday at noon
Important: For two or more consecutive weeks, check-in is only required on the first Sunday, and check-out on the final Saturday (e.g., July 17 – 30 → check-in on the 17th, check-out on the 30th).
Laundry service is included for campers staying two or more consecutive weeks.
🌞 External Option – Day Camp:
Daily attendance from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with lunch included.
On Saturdays, check-out is at 12:30 p.m., same as for internal campers.
What activities are offered?
The Equestrian Summer Camps revolve around the horse world, with riding as the main activity. 🐴☀️
Each day, campers enjoy three riding lessons taught by Level I and II certified instructors, working on various disciplines such as dressage, show jumping, trail rides, vaulting, horseball, and ponygames.
You’ll also learn about stable management and horse care — grooming, braiding, hygiene, feeding, and basic first aid.
Each camper is assigned their own horse or pony to look after throughout the week (brushing, hand-grazing, caring for…). And every day, the best caretaker wins a small prize! 🏅
But days at Miracampos are about much more than riding.
We have a garden with a swimming pool and a full schedule of fun activities led by our leisure instructors: gymkhanas (with and without ponies), barbecues, aquagym, creative workshops, and, after dinner, evening games and themed nights to end each day on a high note.
Surfing at Zurriola Beach (San Sebastián)
Campers can add a surfing course consisting of three 1.5-hour sessions per week at the famous Zurriola Beach 🌊🏄♀️.
The course costs €165 per week, including accident insurance and all equipment.
What is the language of the camp?
The main language of the camp is Spanish, though our instructors are also fluent in English.
It’s the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in Spanish while enjoying your favorite hobby. You’ll meet riders from all over Spain and around the world — and return home with friends from everywhere!
Meet your new adventure partners:
At Miracampos, you’ll find horses and ponies for all levels — each with their own personality, story, and way of teaching.
During the camp, you’ll form a special bond with them: you’ll learn to care for them, understand them, and enjoy every day by their side.
Enjoy the experience and progress together with your horse or pony for just €85 during the first week.
If you stay for more weeks, your horse’s accommodation is free of charge.
The team that will be by your side every day:
We’re a team who love horses, the countryside, and the good atmosphere as much as you do.
We’re all united by the same purpose: to make sure you have an unforgettable experience — learning, enjoying yourself, and feeling part of Miracampos from day one.
We work with enthusiasm so that you always feel cared for, motivated, and happy.
Together, we make this adventure possible.

FAQs
Do I need to bring bed sheets?
No 😊 All beds at the camp come with their own sheets.
If you’re staying for more than one week, we’ll change all the bedding for clean ones on Saturday.
Will I miss any riding classes if I join surfing?
Not at all. 🏄♀️
The surf course is scheduled so that it doesn’t overlap with equestrian activities.
We usually go to the beach around 3:30 p.m., while the rest of the group is at the pool.
This way, those who surf don’t miss any riding lessons or horse-related activities.
What is the camp language?
The main language of the camp is Spanish.
We welcome campers from many regions and countries, so you’ll make friends from all over.
If you’re learning Spanish, don’t worry — our entire team speaks English and will be happy to help whenever you need it, so you’ll feel comfortable and supported from day one.
What is the food like?
All meals are freshly prepared each day in our kitchen by our cook. 👩🍳
As an equestrian camp, our campers burn a lot of energy — that’s why we offer varied, healthy meals with the right nutritional balance for their active days.
The menu is supervised by a health professional and always includes options to choose from.
If someone doesn’t like a dish, they’ll never go hungry: campers can always have seconds, and there are dessert choices every day, including fresh fruit. 🍎
Breakfast usually includes toast, milk, cocoa, pastries, and fruit.
Everything is designed so that campers eat well, feel good, and have plenty of energy throughout the day. 🌞
What are the rooms like?
The rooms are located in a fully renovated space (completed in 2021) within the equestrian center itself.
The space includes its own bathrooms and individual showers, and it’s been carefully designed to feel cozy and comfortable. We’re sure you’ll love it!
When there are boys attending, they have their own separate room, and the instructors also have one in the same building to keep an eye on everything.
If siblings or a group of friends attend together, can they stay in the same room?
Of course! 😊
If you come as a group of friends or siblings, you will be assigned to the same room, as long as you are of the same gender.
